POLICIES & TERMS PAYMENT

 Payments for walking or sitting services are to be paid in full at the time of booking. We accept  cash, Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal. No personal checks will be accepted. 

We do offer 100% refunds for cancellations received 48 hours in advance notice. Less than 24-hour notice and you will be charged for the remainder of visits on that day. If received after 48 hours notice you will receive a 85% refund. credit to your account for future bookings. 

We do not offer refunds for early returns. More than 24-hour notice and you will receive a credit on your account. Less than 24-hour notice and you will be charged for the remainder of visits on that day and credited for the rest of your visits.

 In the event of pet illness or other medical emergency and specified vet is unavailable, pet will be taken to closet vet or emergency clinic. Client understands and agrees that attempt will be made to contact Client in case of emergency and if Client is unreachable, Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC/Pet Sitter has permission to authorize any care the vet deems necessary for pet’s health, safety, and survival. Client agrees to reimburse Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation 

for any additional fees and all costs relating to vet care during their absence, which may include x-rays, blood work, surgery, and/or other expensive procedures, as well as an emergency medical transport fee, $35.00. For the safety of your pet (s) and others, pet (s) must have current vaccinations. Should Pet Sitter be bitten or otherwise exposed to any disease or disease or ailment received from Client’s animal which has not been properly vaccinated it will be the Client’s  responsibility to

pay all costs and damages incurred by the victim. 

  prohibits sharing pet sitting duties with other sitters, friends, family, neighbors, etc. This is for the protection of your pet, your home, and the liability of Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC. We all want our pets to have all the love and attention, they deserve, but be advised that if there are other persons entering and leaving your home, Carefree Pet Sitter, LLC cannot be held liable for any damages or problems that may arise as a result. Please inform us at the time of

 consultation or booking of anyone who may have access to your home while you are away. This includes cleaning services, repair people, friends, family, neighbors, landscaping and pool service. 

 If you will be using surveillance cameras in the home, please advise us. We are honest, trustworthy, have nothing to hide, and do not mind if you use cameras. We only require that we will be allowed to use your restroom or if we will be having, overnight pet sitters in your home that cameras are not active in restroom or the room in which we will be sleeping for privacy. You also agree not to share any video of Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC or petsitter on social media.

There is a onetime $35 holiday charge for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. 

 Due to the extreme unpredictability of animals, Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC and Pet Sitters cannot be held responsible for any unusual mishaps (i.e. pet’s refusal to take medication, escaping from the yard, biting eating or destroying household items, damage to inside/outside of home, personal injury/accidental death). Client is liable for injury or damage to Third Parties. 

 Pet photos required for identification of the pet (s). If not provided client authorizes Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC to take photos for their file. We also include pet (s) pictures on our website and social media accounts. The pictures do not include location, client’s name, or any identifying factors. Please, let us know if you do “not” want us to use pictures of your pet (s) on our website or social media accounts. 

 Visit times are approximate and subject to change based on the needs of all pets under Pet Sitter’s care. Pet Sitter is entrusted to use best judgment in caring for the pet (s) and home in the event of an emergency, inclement weather of natural disaster.Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC will be held harmless for consequences related to such decisions. In the event of injury or illness of your Pet Sitter, or other emergency circumstances where duties are unable to be performed,

 Client authorizes Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC   to arrange for a back-up sitter to take over duties as outlined in this agreement. Visit times will have a two-hour window due to unforeseen incidents such as traffic. We will do our best to arrive at the appointed time. 

Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC will purchase pet food, litter, cleaning supplies, or other necessary items that contribute to the health and wellbeing of your pet while you are away. We will retain a receipt, and the pet owner is responsible for reimbursement of these items. 

All of your information will be kept private and confidential. Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC  highly respects our clients’ entrusting us with the care of their home and their loving pets. We do recommend that you inform a trusted neighbor that while you are away, Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC  will be caring for your pets and homes. 

 Please leave the name and number of a trusted maintenance company or a person you can rely on to attend to any household emergencies that may arise during your absence. This includes but is not limited to leaking pipes, malfunctioning water heaters, heating and AC units. 

 Please leave your thermostat settings within a normal comfortable range (68-78 degrees). If the house temperature is outside of this range, Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC will adjust the thermostat. This is to ensure the health and comfort of your pets and during our time of service. 

 Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC, will clean up after your pets to the best of our ability. Please inform us of the designated area for the appropriate cleaning supplies. 

 Prickly Paws Pet Sitter  will properly dispose of all pet waste. We do request that you provide plastic bags for this purpose and indicate where you would like these waste bags disposed. 

 Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC, reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time before or during its term, if Pet Sitter determines the Client’s pet (s) poses a danger to the health or safety of herself/himself or others. If concerns prohibit Pet Sitter from caring for pet, Client authorizes pet to be placed in a kennel with all charges to be charged to Client. 

 Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC, agree to provide the services stated in this agreement in a reliable, caring, and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services, the Client expressly waives and relinquished any and all claims against Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC,  except those arising from negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Prickly Paws Pet Sitting and Transportation, LLC, or Pet Sitters.
